2025 Gardening Journey

This year I will not spend any money on gardening to see what I can produce for free. This challenge has the potential to save money, . I will continue to add info as I go. So far I have leftover tomatoes, ginger, and carrots, which i love juicing. I remove seeds from an over ripe tomato and placed on a paper towel or sheet or paper to remove access moisture. Cut a small piece of ginger, place in shallow water, cover with plastic and put in a warm sunny location. Here in Illinois it's about 30 to 39 degrees over the past few weeks. The ginger and carrots have sprouted. I will add the pic of carrots later. #werooted #savemoney #environs
